Hello! My name is Ben Holroyd, and I'm a family man from Tamworth, Staffordshire. I’m passionate about helping people grow and develop, and the no-nonsense approach training I deliver is not only designed to exceed industry standards but also inspire and equip people to make positive impacts both in the workplace and in their communities, so BH Training Solutions was born. My 20+ year professional career has been varied working in some of the worlds toughest environments as a Royal Marine Commando, Counter-Piracy Maritime Operative, HM Prison Officer and Physical Trainer to thousands of police officers. I’ve been confronted with numerous challenging situations over the years and having amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience I feel well placed to give back, this is why I run regular free community first aid workshops in my local communities. I didn’t set out to win any awards but it was for this reason on top of my charity fundraising challenges for Huntington’s Disease Association that I was recognised as the Business in the community winner at the Spirit of Tamworth community awards 2024. My ethos is shaped by a relentless work ethic, robust morals, high standards and values forged by service. This is an incredible cause that aims to improve care and support services for people with Huntington's disease and their families. This charity is extremely close to the BH family and we have raised £1000’s over recent years. Ben’s latest fundraising challenge saw him run over 450 miles in 6 months, including a one off ultramarathon 30 miler carrying a 18kg backpack.
